In 2002 Juan David Cano starting providing junior coaching classes at the municipal courts in Archena, Spain which is located just outside Murcia. Due to the success and growth of his program, Juan David created the Oasis Tennis Club in 2006. The club now has 145 juniors from the ages of 4 – 18 as well as a large Adults membership.

Aside from the normal coaching classes, the club also offers a range of other tennis activities. These include regional and national tournaments, weekend trips to major ATP events as well as tennis holidays. Juan David also provides exchange programs which enable players to play tennis with people from other schools or clubs.

As part of the commitment by JEM Tennis to offer all its participants the best and most varied tennis experience possible, Juan David visited Hamble with the view to future inter-club exchanges. The club was very grateful for Juan David, who agreed to give up some of his time to join Colin on Thursdays coaching session and demonstrate some of the techniques used in Spain to JEM's members.

JEM Tennis is pleased to now have a strong link with The Oasis Club, and is looking forward to offering future inter-club exchanges both here in Hamble as well as in Spain.
